LETO ‘ROCK AWARD PROVES WE’RE CREDIBLE’
Actor/singer JARED LETO is thrilled his band 30 SECONDS TO MARS scooped an award at a recent rock ceremony because it proved they are now seen as a credible music act.
Frontman Leto and his fellow bandmates won Best Single at Britain’s Kerrang! Awards last Thursday (23Aug07).
The band have struggled to be taken seriously in the past because of Leto’s acting career - but they now believe things are changing.
Leto says, "We’ve been working hard for a long time for people to accept the band. It’s a wonderful feeling now they have."
