JAY-Z THREATENED TO THROW RIHANNA OUT OF WINDOW
JAY-Z threatened to throw pop superstar RIHANNA out of the window if she didn’t sign a record deal with his music label.
The Umbrella hitmaker, 19, sang the Whitney Houston classic For The Love Of Me for Def Jam bosses when she was 14.
And the music moguls - including rapper Jay Z - were so taken with her singing they didn’t want her to leave until she had signed the contract.
She recalls, "The audition definitely went well. They (Def Jam) locked me into the office - till 3am. And Jay Z said, ‘There’s only two ways out. Out the door after you sign this deal. Or through this window…’ and we were on the 29th floor. Very flattering."
