BUTLER LAUGHS OF ASTON VILLA INVESTMENT STORY
LATEST: Former BLACK SABBATH star GEEZER BUTLER is laughing off reports he’s part of a takeover of English Premiership soccer club Aston Villa.
The bass player, who is a huge fan of the Birmingham, England team, has dismissed rumours he’s considering becoming a celebrity co-owner.
Website DigitalSpy.co.uk even claimed to have a quote from Butler, in which he revealed, "I’m looking into investing 60 million." But, after he was approached by Black-Sabbath.com webmaster Joe Siegler for more on his plans to become a soccer team owner, Butler, said, "What a load of s**te."
