The English star, 23, has refused to go back to rehab to beat her alleged heroin and cocaine addiction despite please from her family following her hospitalisation two weeks ago (08Aug07).
Rehab singer Winehouse described her husband Blake as her "rock" despite being photographed bruised and bloody recently after the couple had a violent bust up.
She says, "I can’t beat drugs without him. He’s my rock and as a married couple we need to go through everything together.
"Blake says he isn’t going back to rehab - but I can if I want. But I am not going without him."

Hollywood couple BRAD PITT and ANGELINA JOLIE took a night off parenting their four children to host a fundraiser for the victims of Hurricane Katrina in the Hamptons, New York on Saturday (25Aug07).
The pair left Maddox, Pax Thien, Zahara and Shiloh Nouvel with nannies at the New York City hotel to fly upstate to the home of Jane Rosenthal and Craig Hatkoff in Watermill.
The fundraiser was promoting the Troy hunk’s Make It Right project, which aims to rebuild New Orleans, Louisiana’s hurricane-ravaged Ninth Ward.
During the evening, the couple socialised with Pitt’s Ocean’s Thirteen co-star Ellen Barkin, country singer Jimmy Buffet and supermodel Christie Brinkley, the New York Daily News reports.

Troubled pop star BRITNEY SPEARS was stopped by Los Angeles police for allegedly speeding on Saturday (25Aug07).
The Toxic star, 25, was driving her Mercedes convertible with two of her dancers when she was halted by highway patrol at 12.30am in downtown Los Angeles.
After co-operating with officers, Spears reportedly handed over the wheel to one of the dancers, according to U.S. TV show Entertainment Tonight.

Film authorities in The Netherlands have jumpstarted the 2008 Oscars race by announcing they’ve already selected the movie they’d like considered as Best Foreign Film.
Black comedy Duska has become the first film selected after a record 95 countries were invited to submit movies for consideration.
The film, which is receiving early acclaim in Holland, will officially premiere at the Netherlands Film Festival at the end of next month (Sep07).

Supermodel SOPHIE DAHL has moved in with her boyfriend of several months, jazz singer JAMIE CULLUM.

A friend says, "They have already spoken about house-hunting, so they wanted to make sure they can happily live together first." The friend adds, "Sophie has only just moved back to London and she hasn’t got a place yet. She’s getting her life together and is happy to spend most of the week at Jamie’s place in Bath or in the London flat."

Bollywood star SHILPA SHETTY has been dropped from her first English film after making high pay demands.
The actress, 32, was due to be the leading role in the romantic comedy film Quick, Slip Me A Bride but arguments about money have forced them to find another leading star.
Producer of the $8 million (£4 million) film, Renu Patel says, "Shilpa agreed to film with us. Now we have been forced to go ahead without her because she wanted £350,000 and insisted half of this had to be paid before she even shot any scene.
"To make things worse, she then tried to insist we delayed the film until next summer to give her time to pursue a music project instead.
"It would have made Shetty a lead in her first British-made film and given her the chance to scotch the idea she is merely a failing Bollywood actress."

DIANA, PRINCESS OF WALES’ former lover JAMES HEWITT has directed a film about his affair with the tragic royal, which will be screened on the eve of the 10th anniversary of her death.
The former British Army officer, 49, has directed a docu-drama called My Way to be aired on British TV network Channel 4 in an attempt to convince viewers that he is not the cad he has been branded.
The programme will see Hewitt starring as himself in the final scene and claims that the couple reconciled seven months before her death in a car crash in Paris on 31 August 1997.
A friend of Hewitt says, "James has always said he and Diana did actually speak again after many months of silence.
"James talks about this in the film and says that Diana called him, and went to see him.
"There’s one clip in which James reveals that in their final conversations Diana told him she was going to shock the world and ‘marry a big fat black man’. It’s pretty gripping stuff and it makes great television."

British theatre casting directors are searching for the next HARRY POTTER to star in a musical based on the smash-hit books.
Producers are already working on a script for an all-singing, all-dancing show of J.K. Rowling’s stories to open at London’s West End next year (08).
Now a search is on for a young boy to take over the role from Daniel Radcliffe who played the wizard Potter on screen as well as a big-name composer to write the music for the show.
A theatre insider says, "The musical has the potential to be huge. You are already off to a head start with the most popular book of recent times. Everyone loves the characters and the mythical world Rowling has invented.
"The difficulty is condensing the seven books into a manageable show. They are exploring various ideas. One possibility is to tell the whole story.
Another is to just take a single plot.
"The plan is for spectacular flying scenes, live Quidditch and big showdowns with Voldermort."

LATEST: A Los Angeles judge has extended a ban on the release of a video documenting tragic model ANNA NICOLE SMITH undergoing cosmetic surgery.
Earlier this month (03Aug07), Superior Court Judge Mitchell L. Beckloff issued a temporary restraining order banned Texas doctor Gerald Wayne Johnson from selling or distributing the tape following a request by Smith’s partner Howard K. Stern.
On Friday (24Aug07), Beckloff extended the injunction with the same conditions against Johnson and his wife Alana.
Smith died of an accidental drug overdose in a Florida hotel room in February (07).

American comedian TRACY MORGAN has been dumped by his wife following a string of legal problems, including a drink driving arrest.
Sabina Morgan has filed for divorce from the former Saturday Night Live regular after spending 22 years as his "rock".
Funnyman Morgan confirms the split, telling U.S. tabloid National Enquirer, "Me and my wife are going through a divorce, but she is still my friend.
"She is my rock and is totally supportive of what I am doing, and that’s me having hit rock bottom." The couple has been together since high school; they wed in 1985.

LATEST: Troubled Bollywood star SALMAN KHAN was arrested in Jodhpur airport, India on Saturday (25Aug07) after his appeal against his five-year jail sentence for killing an endangered species was rejected by a court.
On Friday (24Aug07), a Jodhpur court denied the actor’s appeal against a 2006 court ruling that sentenced him to jail for five years for poaching a chinkara - an endangered species of gazelle protected under wildlife laws - while shooting a film in India’s Rajasthan state in September 1998.
On Saturday, Khan flew from Mumbai to Jodhpur to surrender himself to local authorities, but was arrested in the airport lounge as soon as he landed.
After appearing before the Chief Judicial Magistrate Ravi Sharma, Khan was sent to the city’s Central Jail.
Khan is hoping to appeal the ruling and is expected to seek bail next week (29Aug07).
The Straight From The Heart actor, 41, was visited in prison on Sunday (26Aug07) by his girlfriend Katrina Kaif, his brother Arbaaz and sisters Alvira and Arpita.
The star is also facing trial in Mumbai for his alleged role in a 2002 hit-and-run case. Khan faces 10 charges, including causing death by negligent driving which carries two years in prison. He has pleaded not guilty on all counts.

The pair are said to have had a string of rows behind the scenes as original judge Osbourne, 54, fears that her role in the hit ITV1 show could be overshadowed by Australian singer Minogue, who is 20 years her junior.
Minogue fled the Manchester, England auditions in tears after a furious row with Osbourne leading fellow The X Factor judge Louis Walsh to hold a peacemaking dinner in a bid to solve the problem before the show goes live.
An ITV insider says, "Sharon is acting like a cow and poor Dannii doesn’t know what’s hit her. Sharon’s nose has been well and truly put out of joint by the arrival of Dannii.
"In previous series she has been the star of the show. She brought the glamour and the sexiness. This year she was hoping things would be the same, particularly as her own chat show crashed and burned.
"But she feels Dannii is taking over. She thinks she is the star of the show.
