HORSE-RIDING CROWE LOVED SHOOTING WESTERN
Australian RUSSELL CROWE jumped at the chance to star in new western 3:10 TO YUMA, because he’s an expert horse rider and wanted to spend as much time as possible in the saddle.
The Oscar-winning actor, who appears alongside Christian Bale in the remake, found the shooting the movie a pleasure.
He says, "Probably since I was about nine or 10 years old I’ve ridden horses quite regularly, and I have a cattle farm.
"I have my own horses and stuff, so, for me, that was just a pleasure, being actually able to be on horseback for nine or 10 hours a day wasn’t worrying me at all. You know, the more the better."
