DIZZEE RASCAL: ‘THERE WAS NO KIDNAPPING PLOT’
British rapper DIZZEE RASCAL has played down reports he was the target of a kidnapping plot earlier this year (07), claiming those involved like to make threats but rarely act on them.
Dizzee Rascal - real name Dylan Mills - was said to have been in danger of being held for ransom by a London gang he grew up with.
However, the 22-year-old believes he was never in any real danger.
He says, "People you grew up with, some of them, that’s just the type of thing that comes out of their mouth.
"There was no big kidnapping plot."
