DJ UNCLE KRACKER has been arrested and charged with second-degree forcible sex in North Carolina.
Kracker - real name Matthew Shafer - was arrested by police in an Embassy Suites hotel in Raleigh early on Friday (17Aug07) after a 26 year old female approached an off-duty police officer in a nightclub and claimed Shafer "had committed a sexual act against her while she was inside the establishment," reports TMZ.COM.
After his arrest, Kid Rock’s former collaborator allegedly threatened to flee to his home state Michigan to avoid charges. He was deemed a high flight risk and is currently detained at Wake County Jail on a $5 million (£2.5 million) bond.
