TARANTINO TURNS UP TO AWARDS CEREMONY IN RICKSHAW

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:41 pm

Director QUENTIN TARANTINO was forced to arrive at a Philippine awards ceremony in a rickshaw on Wednesday (15Aug07), after his limousine got stuck in traffic.
The Pulp Fiction filmmaker’s car was grid-locked for two hours close to Malacanang palace in Manila, where Tarantino was due to pick up a Lifetime Achievement Award.
Luckily for the director, help came in the form of a nearby pedicab, which got him to the ceremony forty minutes later than originally planned.
He says, "It was a lot of fun. It’s the way it is, I guess.. It was wild. No worries. I’ve done more serious things than that."
