Britain’s Prince Harry’s girlfriend Chelsy Davy is planning to move to England to be close to her royal boyfriend.
The Zimbabwe-born beauty, who lives in Cape Town, South Africa, has applied to take a post-graduate degree at Leeds University, in West Yorkshire, and hopes the move will be good for her relationship.
One of Chelsy’s friends told Britain’s The Sun newspaper: ‘Chelsy has been with Harry for three years now but they have never lived in the same continent, let alone the same country.
‘Leeds will be perfect for Chelsy.
‘She has several friends at Leeds and it will be great for her to spend weekend with her man.’ The friend added 22-year-old Chelsy will find it very difficult to leave her beloved Cape Town.
They said: ‘Chelsy really doesn’t like the cold and wet of England. She would rather stay in Cape Town where it is beautiful all year round.
‘But this is the only way she and Harry can move to the next level. They can’t go on with the mother of all long-distance romances.’ Chelsy - who graduated from Cape Town University with a degree in economics last year, before embarking on a world tour with brother Shaun - will begin studies at Leeds next month if she gains a place on the year long course.
