Pop star PINK was so impressed by DAME SHIRLEY BASSEY’s version of her hit GET THE PARTY STARTED, she is planning a duet with the veteran singer.
Bassey recorded a version of the hit track for an album of the same name earlier this year (Jun07) to celebrate her landmark 70th birthday.
And Pink - real name Alecia Moore - admits she was so pleased with the star’s album, he is planning a future collaboration.

But Gillespie says he warmed to the concept of live gigs during a tour of Europe in the late 1990s.
He says, "First time I went to a festival was when our manager forced us to play at (English festival (Glastonbury) in 1992.
"I don’t like the whole hippy thing. I liked the actual show but hated the vibe. It was around the time festival organisers got wise that you couple put on other kinds of bands.
"I grew up during punk rock and none of the bands I liked would have been seen dead playing them. But when we began playing festivals in Europe and Scandinavia I got a bit more into them." Hollywood actress ANGELINA JOLIE has been house hunting in Los Angeles without long-term partner BRAD PITT.
The Tomb Raider star privately viewed a $2 million (£1 million) luxury villa in Laurel Canyon. Current owner Wolfgang Wind says, "It was very strange because it was just her, no body guard, no assistant, no nanny, no kids and no Brad.
"I had no idea who the potential buyer was until I saw her.
"She looked extremely skinny. She was very flattering and said the house was extremely nice and I am hoping that she’ll make an offer." Jolie recently quashed rumours her relationship with Pitt is on the rocks, insisting the pair have "blind faith" in each other.

British actor SIR ANTHONY HOPKINS has won an award for his directing and acting talents at Switzerland’s Locarno International Film Festival.
The Silence of the Lambs star was awarded for his work as director of Slipstream, in which he also starred as a tormented German writer.
The award for best actor was shared by Frenchman Michel Piccoli and Italian Michele Venitucci, while best actress was awarded to Spanish star Marian Alvares.
Japanese film Ai No Yokan (the Rebirth) - a love story about the mother of a murderer and the father of the victim - won the best film category.
British comedy Death at a Funeral, with real-life couple Matthew Macfadyen and Keeley Hawes, won the public prize and French director Philippe Ramos collected the prize for best script for Capitaine Achab (Captain Ahab).
A jury chaired by Swiss actress Irene Jacob picked the winners for a ceremony which concluded Locarno’s 60th international film festival. JENNIFER LOPEZ was a bag of nerves when she and husband MARC ANTHONY hosted the premiere of their new film EL CANTANTE in Puerto Rico.
The couple, whose parents all hail from the old country, decided to stage a star-studded opening for the Hector Lavoe biopic - because that’s where the late salsa legend came from.
But Lopez feared the idea was a terrible one as she sat in the audience at the premiere.
She explains, "It was always our dream to debut the film in Puerto Rico because it is a Latino story, it is a Puerto Rican story.
"It was great to just go there and see the reception and feel it. We showed the movie and there was tons of fans outside. I was kind of white-knuckled the whole time during the screening.
"I was holding Marc’s hand like, `Oh my God, how are they gonna like it?’ "Right at the end of the film, the first person stood up, the second person… and we got a standing ovation at the end of the movie. It was so overwhelming we got tears in our eyes. It was very moving."

Virgin boss RICHARD BRANSON was tempted not to deny a bogus romantic report linking him to supermodel KATE MOSS because it was a "good rumour".
The entrepreneur was reported in British newspaper News of the World to have had an affair with Moss as they holidayed on his island in the Caribbean Necker Island - where it was also alleged that Rolling Stone Keith Richards snorted cocaine off her stomach.
Of the allegations, he says, "It was unfortunately completely untrue but I did ponder whether I should be denying it, because it’s a good rumour!" Instead, Moss hooked up with model/singer Jamie Burke, best friend to Branson’s son Sam.
He admits, "She has been on holiday with us a few times. The last time, she ended up with Jamie (Burke), Sam’s best friend, who since then seems to have gone through about four more famous actresses. He’s obviously got something!"

AMY WINEHOUSE’s father has urged his pop star daughter to seek professional help following her recent health scare.
The singer was rushed to a London hospital on Thursday (09Aug07) reportedly caused by exhaustion and has been advised by medics to cancel a string of gigs allowing her time to recuperate.
But the star’s father Mitch has expressed grave concern over his daughter’s lifestyle and skeletal appearance.
He says, "She is skinny as anything and dehydrated and looks like she has just come from a concentration camp.
"She is barely eating. She is not sleeping. I try to get her to eat but that is easier said than done.
"I know that if she doesn’t eat she is going to die. There is no reason for her to want to self-destruct like this."

Troubled pop star AMY WINEHOUSE has vowed to cut back on her party lifestyle after recently experiencing "one of the most terrifying moments of (her) life".
The Rehab hitmaker has hit headlines in recent weeks with a string of cancelled gigs and was rushed to a London hospital on Thursday (09Aug07) suffering from "severe exhaustion".
And the singer claims the experience scared her so much she is now determined to "sort (herself) out".

Italian TV presenter Lory Del Santo - who dated the guitarist in the 1980s embarked on a passionate love affair with the late Beatle as "sweet revenge" because Clapton famously ’stole’ Harrison’s wife Pattie Boyd.
The former model also claims she wanted revenge because Clapton ‘froze (her) out’ after the death of their four-year-old son Conor in 1991.
Del Santo says, "(The affair) could have started as a payback day. "(Harrison) probably had revenge in mind and so did I. We were both hurt, angry with Eric. But what might have started as revenge became something so special.
"It was so private. He asked a lot of questions about Eric. He needed to. And I needed to talk. He was so sweet. He was very caring. It wasn’t all about the sex." And Del Santo admits Clapton never found out about their affair, adding, "George and I got even (with Eric). I didn’t want to tell Eric or talk about it. I didn’t want to ruin the moment."

SPICE GIRL MELANIE BROWN’s recent secret marriage to STEPHEN BELAFONTE is a big mistake, according to her mother.
Andrea Brown was shocked to discover her daughter had married film producer Belafonte in June (07) and believes she is suffering from post-natal depression.
Andrea says, "Melanie’s not the sort to be taken in by anyone, but her hormones were all over the place after the baby. Maybe Stephen came along at just the right time and said all the right things.
"I need to speak to her, but she won’t answer my calls because she knows what I’m going to say." Last week, it emerged Belafonte has a criminal record for hitting the mother of his child, ex-partner Nicole Contreras.
