SARDOU AND HALLYDAY TARGETS OF EMAIL HACKER
Popular French singers MICHEL SARDOU and JOHNNY HALLYDAY are involved in a police investigation after they were both victims of a computer hacker.
The alleged hacker is the director of a small computer services company in Paris, and is believed to have installed a spying programme on Sardou’s computer in 2001 while installing other software.
The 45-year-old suspect was questioned and released to return in front of a magistrate next month (Sep07). Sardou discovered the spying and alerted police who discovered Hallyday and theatre producer Jean-Claude Camus had also been tapped into.
