FOX ORDERED TO STAY SOBER UNTIL ARRAIGNMENT
LATEST: Actress VIVICA A. FOX has been ordered to stay sober until her September (07) arraignment or face paying bail.
The Kill Bill star was apprehended earlier this year (Mar07) after she was allegedly caught driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI). She was later released on her own recognisance.
But in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Wednesday (08Aug07), a judge prevented Fox drinking alcohol until her next court date.
He conceded, "She can be around it (alcohol) because of the nature of her work but she cannot consume or possess it. I am not permitting her to consume alcohol." If convicted, Fox faces a maximum of six months in jail and a $1,000 (£500) fine.
