MYLES BEGGED FOR DREAM ROLE
English actress SOPHIA MYLES was so impressed by director DAVID MacKENZIE’s script for HALLAM FOE she twice wrote to him pleading for a leading role.
The Tristan and Isolde star admits she took desperate measures in a bid to secure the dream role of Kate Breck in the dark comedy.
She says, "I’ve never done that before, but I absolutely loved the script. I met David, and got on really well with him. Then I didn’t hear from him for a while.
"So I sent him a follow-up letter. I know the idea of begging for a job is terribly embarrassing, but I just wanted to be a part of it."
