DESIGNER SUES BRAXTON

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 4:02 am

The man behind the lavish stage costumes TONI BRAXTON wears for her hit Las Vegas show is suing the singer for allegedly failing to pay for the outfits.
Designer Anthony Franco claims he was commissioned by Braxton and bosses at Liberty Entertainment, Inc. to create a wardrobe for the Unbreak My Heart singer’s one-year-old Flamingo Hotel spectacular, Toni Revealed.
Franco claims the parties agreed on a price of $35,000 (GBP17,500) and he was paid by cheque. But when he tried to cash in the money, the cheque bounced and then Braxton and her business partners allegedly put a stop to the payment altogether.
In his lawsuit, obtained by TMZ.com, Franco claims he was eventually paid $20,000 (GBP10,000), but he’s still awaiting the full amount.
