MIKA DUBBED ‘PATHETIC’ AFTER NO-SHOW
LATEST: MIKA has been dubbed "pathetic" by festivalgoers after he skipped a performance at the Big Chill in England on Friday (4Aug07).
The singer’s spokesman claimed an "ear, nose and throat" infection kept him from singing at the event in Herefordshire.
But fans and workers at the festival were more skeptical of his motives and defaced banners and daubed graffiti across the site, claiming they were "fortunate" to have missed out on a performance by the "pathetic" Grace Kelly hitmaker.
Mr Scruff, The Blockheads, Kruder & Dorfmeister and DJ Yoda all performed at the annual event. Last month (Jul07), Mika was forced to cancel a series of gigs in Denmark after being hospitalised over an ear infection.
