ALLEN DENIES AIRPORT SCUFFLE
British pop star LILY ALLEN has hit out at reports she was involved in a fight with a photographer at Melbourne airport on Wednesday night (01Aug07), insisting the claims are "completely untrue".
The unnamed snapper has accused Allen of hitting and kicking him when he asked the Smile singer to pose for just one photograph.
However, other photographs taken at the scene show no signs of the alleged violence, with Allen pictured hiding her face as she emerged from the arrival gate.
Her tour representative says, "It is completely untrue. He (the photographer) was jumping all over everyone. He was really in her face. He was asked by two tour managers to back off, and then he was yelling stuff out. No one kicked anyone." Allen is currently on tour in Australia and played a sold-out concert at Melbourne’s Prince of Wales venue on Thursday night (02Aug07).
