METALLICA frontman JAMES HETFIELD has laughed off claims he was detained by airport staff in London because of his ‘Osama Bin Laden-like’ beard.
The rocker is even more amused the media believed the story, which supposedly took place after the band’s performance at the Live Earth concert in the city last month (Jul07).
Hetfield says, "It’s scary how gullible the press is. It’s pure fabrication."
