FEDERLINE DEFENDS HUGE EXPENSES

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 6:14 pm

LATEST: BRITNEY SPEARS’ ex-husband KEVIN FEDERLINE blames the pop star’s celebrity status for his huge expenses bill, insisting only those who are in the spotlight can understand the "financial dynamics" of his situation.
Federline and Spears’ marriage officially ended on Monday (30Jul07) after just 33 months. They split last November (06), just two months after the birth of their second son, Jayden James.
The aspiring rapper shares custody of his two boys with Spears - Sean Preston, 22 months, and Jayden James, 10 months - and he receives $15,000 (£7,500)-a-month in child support from the singer.
Federline is also paid $20,000 (£10,000)-a-month in spousal support, as based on their prenuptial agreement, but this amount is due to end in November (07), according to TMZ.com.
And Federline is adamant his large expenses bill - which has not been officially disclosed - is justified by his new life as a celebrity because of their need for a nanny and 24-hour security.
His lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan says, "There are people you have to pay so your kids can pretend they’re like everyone else.
"When you are a celebrity parent, there are financial dynamics that others not familiar with it can’t understand."
