VINNIE JONES MOVES TO HOLLYWOOD
Soccer star-turned-movie tough guy VINNIE JONES is selling his home in England to live permanently in Los Angeles in a bid to boost his movie career.
Since retiring from soccer eight years ago (99), Jones has appeared in blockbuster movies Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Gone In 60 Seconds and is now determined capitalise on his early film success with even bigger roles.
He says, "I’m selling up in England. Both our houses are going. I need to simplify things and concentrate on my acting career. And this is the place to be. My wife Tanya and I have been based in a rented apartment in Beverly Hills for the past year but I’ve just put in an offer for a house off Sunset Plaza.
I’ve got all my papers sorted for the green card and we’re going to live there for two or three years and see how it goes."
