TIMBALAND LAUNCHES HIGH-TECH KEYBOARD
Superproducer TIMBALAND is set to launch his own high-tech keyboard - at a cost of $2,967 (£1,483.50) each.
The hip-hop star’s latest album Shock Value has seen massive success in the U.S. and U.K., with single The Way I Are ending Rihanna’s 10-week reign over the British singles charts on Sunday (29Jul07).
And now the beatmaker - real name Timothy Mosley - is teaming up with musical instrument company Open Labs to cash in on his popularity with the Timbaland Special Edition MiKo keyboard work-centre.
He says, "I’ve made the new Timbaland Special Edition MiKo with Tim’s touch.
It’s got everything I need in a single box and when I use it, we make masterpieces." The keyboard features over 24 gigabytes of premium sounds, with no less than 25,027 presets.
