Actress KIRSTEN DUNST’s wild partying has angered her London neighbours they’re compiling a petition in the hope of putting a stop to her late night antics.
The Spider-Man star - currently dating British rocker Johnny Borrell - has temporarily moved in to a £2 million ($4 million) house in Islington, north London, while she shoots How To Lose Friends & Alienate People in the city.
But her penchant for hosting afterparties at her new mansion has enraged locals in the quiet neighbourhood.
A source says, "Kirsten isn’t very popular in Islington at the moment. The locals are incensed that she’s changing the tone of the area. She’s started spending nights in the local pub by herself chatting to the locals.
"When closing time comes she invites them all round to her house to continue the party. But it seems the noise levels and people coming and going at all hours is getting to her neighbours.
"They’ve had enough and apparently three families have written a petition to the council in the hope they’ll take some action. Where they live used to be a peaceful neighbourhood but now they think it is like party central." However, Islington Council has refused to address the issue in public, simply stating: "We cannot confirm or deny these complaints."

DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES creator MARC CHERRY is preparing to introduce a gay couple to the show - to argue with TERI HATCHER’s character SUSAN.
Cherry reveals Wisteria Lane’s new characters will not get along with neighbour Susan - a plotline he has based on his own life.
He says, "They will move into the old Applewhite house and one of the gay men will just have a fractious, hateful relationship with (Susan).
"And Susan wants to be so politically correct and show how open-minded she is and she puts her foot in her mouth instantly and it goes downhill from there.
"I’m basing it a little bit on my relationship with my neighbours." But Cherry is yet to cast the roles, adding, "We just started writing the episodes so I probably won’t start casting for another few weeks."

LATEST: British comedy star CHRIS LANGHAM’s sons have testified in court on his behalf, recalling their meetings with his alleged victim.
Langham is charged with six counts of indecent assault on a girl under 18, as well as 15 counts of making indecent images of a child.
But speaking at Maidstone Crown Court in England on Tuesday (31Jul07), Langham’s three sons from the actor’s first marriage showed solidarity for their beleaguered dad.
Siencyn Langham, 30, the oldest of the actor’s five children, told how he "resented" the alleged victim and had few memories of the pair together.
He said, "I think possibly I’ve blocked occasions when she was there because I resented other people being invited to occasions when it was meant to be me and my dad and my two brothers." Dafydd Jones-Davies, 24, told the jury his father introduced him to the girl at the theatre he was working in at the time.
He said: "He (Langham) reckoned it would be beneficial for her to meet us as we’ve been through difficult times and she had been through difficult times. Me and my brother attempted to speak to her the first couple of times and she had no interest in us." Meanwhile, former Palace Theatre front of house staff member James Fraser confessed he had suspicions about Langham’s relationship with the girl, who claims she had sex with the actor in a dressing room there.
He told the court, "My concerns are that hotel visits, fancy restaurants and expensive gifts don’t really constitute what I would call a professional or suitable relationship." However, when he approached the alleged victim’s mother about his worries he found "a laissez-faire attitude to the whole situation".
Langham has pleaded not guilty to all charges against him and claims any material found on his computer was for research purposes. The trial continues.

American news anchor ROBIN ROBERTS has been diagnosed with cancer.
The Good Morning America presenter will undergo treatment to remove a lump from her breast later this year (07).
The 47-year-old admits she was only inspired to go for a cancer screening following the death of her co-host Joel Siegel, who passed away from colon cancer last month (Jun07).
She says, "I did a piece about Joel’s courageous battle with cancer (on the show), reporting on the way my friend had lived his life and been such a successful advocate for the importance of early cancer screenings.
"That very night when I went to bed, I did a self breast exam and found something that women everywhere fear: I found a lump." Medics confirmed the host had cancer, but Roberts is remaining positive.
She adds, "I am so blessed that I found this in the early stages and the prognosis is so promising that my doctor expects me to be flying planes and hanging on to submarines in the middle of the Atlantic and scaling the Mayan Pyramids in no time in the mornings to come."

Rapper PAUL WALL loved performing for troops in Iraq so much, he’s returning to the war-torn country once more.
The hip-hop star travelled to the Persian Gulf earlier this year (07) as part of Jamie Kennedy’s Hip-Hop Comedy Tour and has signed up for the forthcoming United Service Organization (USO)’s tour to show his appreciation to soldiers fighting in the Iraq War.
He says, "Being a part of a USO tour and performing for the troops is amazing. It’s so easy to get caught up in the day-to-day and to forget what’s happening overseas - this is my way of letting them know I realise what they’re sacrificing and am truly grateful." The mother of rising Canadian rapper JONATHAN ‘JOE B.G.’ GUILBAULT has blamed firefighters for failing to respond fast enough to the blaze which killed the star at his home in Montreal.
The 27-year-old’s remains were discovered in his charred apartment on Friday (27Jul07), after authorities told his mother Andree Beaupre "everybody was safe and sound" and the apparently accidental fire had claimed no victims.
But Beaupre is furious firefighters did not search the building more thoroughly so her son could have been saved.
Guilbault lived alone and had been working tirelessly to complete his new album, a fact manager Jean-Francois Robert attributes to his failure to wake up when the fire broke out.

Rockers PANIC! AT THE DISCO are so bored now they’ve finished touring they’re contemplating permanently living on the road.
The quartet, comprising singer Brendon Urie, guitarist Ryan Ross, bassist Jon Walker and drummer Spencer Smith, are currently on holiday in their hometown, Las Vegas, following a recent world tour.
But the inactivity is taking its toll mentally, and the band can’t wait to get back on the bus for some summer festival dates.
Smith says, "It’s too normal. We can get up anytime we want and literally don’t have to do a thing or worry about the next pay check to pay the water bill. We’re getting bored of having nothing to do." Urie adds, "I can see why old people get jobs after they’ve retired. You get so bored. I’m annoyed with how boring it is when you have nothing to do."

Canadian rapper MEYEND TRICKS has been gunned down outside his home in Toronto.
He was 25.
The MC - born Michael George - died early on Sunday morning (29Jul07) after he was shot several times in the head and chest as he stepped out of his car.
Police believe the gunman had either been waiting for George - a member of the hip-hop trio LowLife - to return home or he had been followed to his neighbourhood in the east end of the city.
Cops have been unable to find any witnesses to the slaying and have yet to establish a motive for George’s murder.
Detective Sergeant Steve Ryan says, "Somebody was waiting for him. This was not random."

LATEST: SNOW PATROL rocker TOM SIMPSON has missed a second court appearance on charges of cocaine possession.
The keyboard player was detained by police on 7 July (07), just hours after performing at the London leg of Live Earth, for missing a previous hearing.
He was subsequently released and ordered to face the drug charge - dating back to an arrest in Glasgow in June 2006 - on 31 July (07).
However, he failed to show up at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday (31Jul07) and the case was continued until 28 August after a request from Simpson’s lawyer.
Sheriff Iain Peebles did not query Simpson’s absence.
Snow Patrol are scheduled to headline England’s V Festival in August (18-19Aug07).

NEIL YOUNG is turning comic novelist to reinvent his 2003 concept album GREENDALE.
The record, which charts the development of fictional California teenager Sam Green, his extended family and how they were torn apart by a murder, has already been made into a film, written and directed by Young.
But now the pioneering rocker is teaming up with writer Joshua Dysart and artist Sean Murphy to turn the saga into a comic.
Karen Berge, an executive from publisher Vertigo, says, "I met Neil about a year ago. He approached us. He loves comics and he’d been following all the attention for graphic novels that’s going on.
"Much like the rest of his creative work, it’s his baby, and he’ll have a big hand in producing the book and promoting it later on." A release date has yet to be confirmed.

Hip-hop mogul RUSSELL SIMMONS has helped to raise $1.4 million (£700,000) for New York’s underprivileged children, as part of the Art For Life Not So Mellow Yellow fundraising event.
The Def Jam founder was joined by his brother Danny to host the annual celebrity gala at Simmons’ East Hampton, Long Island, home on Saturday (28Jul07), with attendees including the Last King of Scotland actor Forest Whitaker, rapper Chamillionaire, record label boss Antonio ‘L.A.’ Reid and model Petra Nemcova.
The money raised by the event will benefit youth programmes Friends of Island Academy, The Point and Working Playground. Some of the funds will also be used for Simmons’ Rush Philanthropic’s education programmes.

Supermodel KATE MOSS will never suffer a drug relapse because she is dedicated to becoming a good mother to her daughter LILA GRACE, according to her ex-boyfriend PETE DOHERTY.
The Babyshambles rocker - who recently underwent professional help to kick his own heroin addiction - split from Moss in early July (07) amid reports he had cheated on her with a brunette model.
Doherty admits the catwalk star now has a zero tolerance policy when it comes to drugs - her last cocaine binge was in September 2005, when pictures of the supermodel snorting the illegal substance were published on the front page of a British tabloid.
And the singer claims Moss only smokes cannabis since she checked herself into an American rehabilitation facility shortly after the controversy.
He says, "The last drugs we did together was the coke in the recording studio. After that she went into rehab in Arizona and came out a different woman.
"Kate was determined to sort her life out and has done. She doesn’t mind the odd spliff but won’t go back down the route of the hard stuff.
"Drugs is a big no-no for her now. All she wants is to be a good mum to her kid."

SIR ELTON JOHN was able to heal a bitter rift with his late father thanks to soccer.
The Rocket Man - who became chairman of English side Watford in 1976 experienced a rocky relationship with his father Stanley Dwight.
But John says it was their shared love of football that enabled them to "make peace" before Dwight’s death in 1992.
He says, "I made my peace with my father in the end. We were still awkward with each other. That awkwardness never goes. But he was very proud of me in the end and I was the chairman of Watford, so when I went up to Liverpool and watched Liverpool and Watford, or Everton and Watford, he used to come.
"I didn’t hate my father. I was afraid of him because he was a very strict disciplinarian and he didn’t approve of me doing what I did at all."

Troubled British rocker PETE DOHERTY has spoken out about his relationship with his "abusive" supermodel ex KATE MOSS - but insists he still loves her.
Doherty split from the catwalk star in early July (07), amid reports the troubled Babyshambles frontman had cheated on Moss with a mystery brunette.

Pop star KYLIE MINOGUE has offered her condolences to British actor DAVID TENNANT after he lost his mother to cancer.
The singer - who is making a cameo appearance on Doctor Who - consoled her co-star on the set of the BBC sci-fi series in Swansea, Wales.
She told Tennant, "I know how you are feeling." A source tells British newspaper The Sun, "David’s mother’s funeral was only a few days ago and he is understandably upset. He needed sympathy on his return to work - and Kylie gave him that." Filming of Doctor Who was suspended to allow Tennant time to grieve over his mother’s death on 15 July.

British actor JUDE LAW has dismissed reports he is romancing CAMERON DIAZ, insisting they are "just friends".
The Hollywood stars were alleged to be hooking up in the U.S. after Diaz fell for Law while filming the romantic comedy The Holiday together in 2006.
And although Law is currently in Los Angeles shooting his new movie Repossession Mambo with Forest Whitaker, he has no plans to meet up with Diaz.

LATEST: LINDSAY LOHAN’s mother DINA is relieved the actress’ father MICHAEL has dropped his demand to have her undergo a drugs test, insisting the order was not necessary.
Michael Lohan is current embroiled in a bitter divorce and custody battle with Dina and requested his estranged wife take a drugs test to prove that her alcohol abuse, coupled with his own battle against drugs, had played a part in the Mean Girls star’s recent breakdown.
But Lohan Snr - who was recently released from jail - announced on Monday (30Jul07) he was dropping the order, although he refused to give the reason behind his decision.
Michael is currently only allowed telephone contact with his two youngest children, Aliana, 13 and his 10-year-old son Dakota, but he hopes his latest offer will help his case for visitation rights.
Lindsay, 21, and Michael Jr., 19, are exempt from the Family Court order as they are no longer considered minors.
His attorney, John DiMascio Jr, says, "(Mr. Lohan is doing) everything he possibly can to reunite with his children." But Dina is not impressed with her ex’s demands, retorting, "There never should have been an order." The couple has been ordered by the judge "not to make disparaging comments in the presence of the children" and is due back in court on 10 August (07).
