The mother of rising Canadian rapper JONATHAN ‘JOE B.G.’ GUILBAULT has blamed firefighters for failing to respond fast enough to the blaze which killed the star at his home in Montreal.
The 27-year-old’s remains were discovered in his charred apartment on Friday (27Jul07), after authorities told his mother Andree Beaupre "everybody was safe and sound" and the apparently accidental fire had claimed no victims.
But Beaupre is furious firefighters did not search the building more thoroughly so her son could have been saved.
Guilbault lived alone and had been working tirelessly to complete his new album, a fact manager Jean-Francois Robert attributes to his failure to wake up when the fire broke out.
