ANDY WILLIAMS RELISHES HIS PENSIONER PULLING POWER
Veteran crooner ANDY WILLIAMS is toasting his first panty-throwing performance - at the grand old age of 79.
The Moon River singer has always considered himself a ladies man, but his hopes were only confirmed recently - after more than 50 years in the music industry - when a female fan at a British gig threw her underwear in his direction.
He says, "I had my first pair of panties thrown from the balcony. They didn’t quite make it to the stage. They landed on a bald man’s head in the second row - scared him half to death.
"But they reached me eventually. They had ‘I love you’ written on them in lipstick - and a telephone number."
