KISS rocker PAUL STANLEY was forced to pull out of a concert in California after suffering a heart scare.
The guitarist’s doctors advised him not to perform at the Soboba Casino on Friday night (28Jul07) after paramedics were forced to stop and restart his heart.
Stanley says, "My heart spontaneously jumped to 190 plus beats per minute where it stayed for over an hour." His band-mates Gene Simmons, Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer played the gig while Stanley recovered in hospital.

Troubled rocker PETE DOHERTY has been fined £100 ($200) for throwing rubbish from a car window in London.
The Babyshambles singer was caught by police littering in London’s Regents Park less than 24 hours after checking into rehab in North Yorkshire.
Doherty - who has reportedly been dumped by supermodel Kate Moss - is believed to have sought treatment at the clinic under the order of a judge following a conviction for driving illegally while in the possession of Class A drugs last month (Jun07).

LATEST: A second man has been arrested for allegedly attempting to sell stolen photographs of TOM CRUISE and KATIE HOLMES’ wedding.
The second suspect is 33-year-old Mark Gittleman, who was arrested in Los Angeles on Tuesday (24Jul07).
He joins David Hans Schmidt, 47, known for arranging deals for celebrity photographs - who was also arrested by agents on Tuesday (24Jul07).
The pair are accused of demanding more than $1 million (£500,000) for stolen pictures of the couple’s 2006 wedding in Italy.
Schmidt is currently trying to sell Paris Hilton’s diaries, as well as photographs of her and personal items that were left abandoned in an LA storage lock-up.

JENNIFER ANISTON has fuelled speculation she’s about to announce a big Broadway project - by buying a new New York home.
The actress, who recently confessed she was tiring of life in Los Angeles, has bought a new Manhattan apartment, according to American magazine Life & Style.
A source tells the publication, "Her mind is made up. She’s been keeping a lot of the details to herself - until now." The insider claims Aniston hopes to make the move to the east coast by the end of 2007.

LINDSAY LOHAN’s estranged father has confessed he records the phone conversations he has with his kids - so his words cannot be used against him in court.
Michael Lohan is current embroiled in a bitter divorce and custody battle with his estranged wife Dina, and he fears his kids are being used as pawns in the fight.
Upon leaving a New York courthouse on Friday (27Jul07), where Lohan was ordered to pay Dina $500 (£250)-a-month in child support, he told reporters of his paranoia: "I record my conversations with my children to protect myself and to protect them.
"My children are told what to say on that phone when they talk to me." His comments come a day after his teenage daughter Ali told a gossip website that her father was not to be believed when claiming he was a loving, caring father. She insisted Michael was never around for his kids and blamed him for her famous sister’s ongoing problems.

A man who stalked HARRY POTTER author J.K. ROWLING has been fined £300 ($600).
Paul Lomax of North London pestered the writer with a string of nuisance letters and anonymous phone calls over the course of two years.
After pleading guilty in court in Edinburgh, Scotland on Friday (27Jul07), Lomax was given the fine and non-harrassment order.

Recovering drug addict DANIEL BALDWIN’s brother BILLY fears the MULHOLLAND FALLS star has some way to go before he can shake off his past problems.
Baldwin has been sober for months after a ninth rehab stint and is planning to wed his girlfriend, while becoming a go-to voice for news shows looking for comments about Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears’ recent problems.
But his younger brother is still not convinced the born-again Christian has what is takes to stay sober.
He says, "I think the jury’s still out. He’s turning his life around and when people have 18 months, two, three, four years, where they’re working and they’re paying bills… It’s a day and then it’s a week and then it’s a month and then it’s a year.
"Only then do you realise you’ve put it behind you."

HARRY POTTER author J.K.ROWLING is already working on two more books - only days after her final Harry Potter novel became the fastest-selling book in history.
The millionaire writer has made a fortune from the hugely popular series but she isn’t ready to retire.
She says, "I’m sort of writing two things at the moment. One is for children and the other is not for children. "The weird thing is that this is exactly the way I started writing Harry… I was writing two things simultaneously for a year before Harry took over. So one will oust the other in due course, and I’ll know that’s my next thing."

LATEST: British comedy star CHRIS LANGHAM has been accused of ‘acting’ after dramatically breaking down in court during his child porn trial.
Taking the witness stand at Maidstone Crown Court in England on Friday (27Jul07), Langham collapsed in a sobbing heap as he recounted details of the sexual abuse he suffered as a child.
But prosecution lawyers have accused him of exaggerating his own alleged experience of child molestation to manipulate the jury. Richard Barraclough QC, prosecuting, said: "They are genuine outbursts, are they? Because we know that you are an actor. We don’t see any tears." To which Langham replied: "Yes, they are genuine. I can barely string two cogent thoughts together." He claims to have been abused aged just eight by a man who took him sailing when he was living in Canada with his family. The trial continues.

LATEST: ZSA ZSA GABOR’S husband PRINCE FREDERIC VON ANHALT has spoken out about the "horror" of being robbed and stripped at gunpoint - as he sat in the front seat of his Rolls Royce in swanky Bel Air.
Los Angeles police are investigating claims the Hungarian royal was tricked into letting three female ‘tourists’, who requested a group photograph with him, into his car. He alleges one of the women held a gun to his head and he was forced to hand over a platinum and diamond watch, $1,800 (£900) in cash and his car keys before the robbers told Von Anhalt to strip.
He claims the trio then strapped him to his steering wheel and took off.
Von Anhalt called the police and a producer at entertainment news TV show Entertainment Tonight - to report his humiliating misfortune.
He says, "I was in horror. You don’t know if you’re going to get out of it alive… I’m not gonna sleep the next couple of nights, that’s for sure." The Prince, who claimed he was the biological father of Anna Nicole Smith’s child Dannielynn earlier this year (07), admits he didn’t call his ailing wife to tell her of the robbery at gunpoint because that would have been cruel.
Von Anhalt, who has been married to Gabor for 21 years, adds, "To call a sick woman in a situation like that… I didn’t call my wife."

SCISSOR SISTERS have accused legendary singer BARBARA STREISAND of overcharging fans for her concerts. Frontman Jake Shears berated Streisand from the stage at his gig at London’s 02 arena on Thursday (26Jul07) - after watching the diva perform there the night before.
He claimed he didn’t get value for money, after paying for $1000 (£500) tickets to watch her perform.
Shears said, "She came on ten minutes late then sang for ten minutes. Four gay men came up on the stage and she said, ‘These are my gay friends and they are going to sing my hits for me’."

Rocker SLASH was so hooked on painkillers during VELVET REVOLVER’s tough recording sessions for their new album LIBERTAD, he kept falling asleep in the studio.
While bandmates Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum were in rehab together and group tensions reached an all-time high following a difficult world tour, Slash tried to keep the supergroup together - but the pressure turned him onto drugs.
And he was so far gone at some points, he even contemplated joining McKagan and Sorum in rehab.
The guitarist tells Rolling Stone magazine, "There was a lot of negative s**t going on. Some of it was band stuff, some of it was home stuff… and I went on a little f**king OxyContin binge for, like, two or three months.
"I had set a date to go into rehab."

A life-size statue of ELVIS PRESLEY has been erected in the Hawaiian capital Honolulu to mark the location of one of his most famous concerts.
The King’s gig at the city’s Neal Blaisdell Centre in 1973 reached over a billion people as it was one of the first music concerts to be globally broadcast on television through satellite - and American cable network TV Land has donated the monument to mark the landmark transmission.
Mufi Hannemann, Mayor of Honolulu says, "He was not a native son of our land… but we adopted him as our own."

STEWART COPELAND has been relieved of his job as THE POLICE’s online blogger after poking fun at singer STING in an early attempt.
Guitarist Andy Summers admits he and Sting were far from amused when drummer Copeland grumbled about the reformed trio’s early shows online, stating the band was "totally at sea" and the frontman was a "petulant pansy".
Summers says, "I think that was just cabin fever after having been in the same hotel room for three weeks.
"Stewart thought he was going to be the blogger on this tour. That ended pretty quickly."
