LOHAN’S MOTHER ‘SICK’ OVER ARREST
LINDSAY LOHAN’s mother is "sick" with worry after the actress’ drink driving arrest - but has vowed not to "give up" on her daughter.
The 21-year-old was arrested in Santa Monica, California on Tuesday morning (24Jul07), just ten days after leaving rehab and two months after she was involved in a drunken car crash in Los Angeles.
Dina Lohan has reassured fans Lindsay is safe and well - but has taken a swipe at the media for hounding the star and her family.
She says, "We are doing everything in our power in support of Lindsay and I won’t give up - this is my daughter and we love her.
"I am sick over this. My children, my family, we are like prisoners in our own home because paparazzi (are stalking us) outside (our) home. Lindsay is in a safe place, and we are trying to strategically work out our next step."
