Director MICHAEL BAY has hit back at BRUCE WILLIS after the actor wrote an internet blog vowing never to work with him again.
The pair fell out on the set of Armageddon, prompting Willis to recently write, "Few people will work with Bay now, and I know I will never work with him again. A screaming director does not make for a pleasant set experience." But Transformers film-maker Bay claims’ Willis rant is just a publicity stunt for his latest film Die Hard 4.0. He says, "If you look, he posted at 3:30 in the morning.; Does anything good happen at 3:30 in the morning? I think we have movies that were supposed to open on the same date and I think he thought, ‘Maybe I’ll get some fans if I do that.’ Bruce wrote, ‘If Michael Bay would have done Die Hard 4.0, it would have sucked.’ "Now, my action is usually pretty good. So I’ll put it to the test. Put Transformers action against Die Hard 4.0 action. If you want to go the competitive way, we can go there."

LINDSAY LOHAN is in the middle of yet another legal wrangle after ignoring a letter from a motorist who was "intimidated" by the actress’ bodyguard during a traffic altercation in April (07).
Signe Dupuy is considering filing suit against Lohan and her minder Jazman Bennett after the bodyguard cut her vehicle off on a Los Angeles street, while attempting to follow the Mean Girls star and perform an illegal U-turn.
Dupuy claims Lohan performed a lane-changing U-turn right in front of her and then Bennett’s black SUV cut her off as he attempted to follow his charge, according to TMZ.com.
Dupuy, whose car then collided with the SUV’s back wheel, recalls Bennett being "hostile" and trying "to intimidate" her as she attempted to take his insurance details, which she claims he lied about.
Days after the collision, Dupuy penned a letter to Lohan’s rep trying to "settle the situation," but says she hasn’t heard back.
The actress’ aide admits she received the letter.

MATT DAMON has dressed up as a fuel-pump and BEN AFFLECK as an ear of corn in a spoof charity film to raise awareness of climate change and promote alternative fuel sources.
The pair and a host of Hollywood stars have agreed to star in the video created by the Center for American Progress Action Fund.
In Clean My Ride, Flex My Fuel, Damon spoofs his movie character Jason Bourne, urging Congress to make changes and punching a guy who asks him to dance - all while wearing a fuel pump costume.
He says, "Come on, Congress. Come on, big oil. Mandate cleaner cars and cleaner fuel. A little bit of corn and a pinch of can-do attitude is all it takes. And kids love it, too. Yippee… I feel like I’m being Punk’d." Affleck’s wife Jennifer Garner, Sarah Silverman, Jason Biggs and Joshua Jackson also appear in the film.
The first of a six-part series of videos is already appearing on website Youtube.com.

BEYONCE KNOWLES took a nasty tumble at a concert in Orlando, Florida on Tuesday night (24Jul07) after tripping on her trenchcoat.
The R&B superstar was about to descend a staircase at the Amway Arena when she lost her balance and fell head-first down 12 steps.
The embarrassed singer braved the rest of the show but begged fans not to post any videos of her fall from grace on the Internet.
One devotee has since handed footage she took with her camera phone to a local TV station.
The unnamed woman told WKMG-TV bosses, "As she proceeded to come down the stairs, she tripped on her coat and it seems like she fell on her collarbone and face." Other fans claim Beyonce appeared to be bleeding after the staircase fall, and they were impressed with her will to continue with the show.

Actor MATTHEW PERRY is relieved his new TV show is filmed close to the former FRIENDS set - because he doesn’t have to learn new road directions.
Perry, who plays Matt Albie in new TV series Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip, says working close to the former set of the popular sitcom has brought back fond memories.
And he claims travelling to the Los Angeles studio is easy because it’s the same route he took during his 10-year stint on the show.
He tells Heat magazine, "It’s very bizarre. They just moved my trailer up here. So, like, last night I just looked at the stage as I was going home at 4 o’clock in the morning or whatever time it was, and I shook my head. "We are shooting this new show that I love very much about five feet away from where I was for ten years. Although, it helps because I know how to get here in the morning."

BEVERLY HILLS 90210 star JASON PRIESTLEY is finding parenthood a struggle because he hates sleepless nights.
The former teen hunk’s wife Naomi Lowde gave birth to a baby girl earlier this month (06Jul07) - two years after the pair’s 2005 marriage.
However, after the initial excitement wore off, Priestley confesses he found first-time fatherhood a difficult task.
He says, "(On her first night at home Ava) cried all night. We came home from the hospital and were like, ‘Is this what it is like?’ "You gotta be involved. The other day I had her on my chest and she peed on me. But babies are like bunny rabbits. When they pee on you, it means they like you."

British actor BILL NIGHY contemplated selling his body to achieve his dreams of becoming a famous novelist.
Nighy fled England for Paris as a youngster to carve out his dream career and follow in the footsteps of writing heroes Ernest Hemingway and F. Scott Fitzgerald.
But the 57-year-old was without cash and considered trading sex for money in a seedy establishment called Madame Cuckoo’s - but was too shy to go through with it.
He says, "The problem for me, was at that stage, I had never actually made love to a woman. When I was a teenager I was so paralysed with shyness and self-consciousness that I used to get pains in my legs because I found it so difficult to talk to girls. "That’s the sort of boy I was. But if I had ever got to Madame Cuckoo’s I wouldn’t have even known what to do to earn my 250 francs (£25/$50), so I figured it was better all round if I just didn’t turn up there at all."

LATEST: British comedy star CHRIS LANGHAM’s trial was temporarily halted on Wednesday (25Jul07) after graphic videos allegedly found on the actor’s computer proved too much for a juror.
Langham is charged with 10 counts of indecent assault on a girl under 18, as well as 15 counts of making indecent images of a child.
However, judge Philip Statman, presiding at Maidstone Crown Court in England, was forced to halt proceedings when the jury was shown three videos depicting child abuse, prompting one woman to break down in tears.
Langham shielded his eyes with his hands and stared at his notebook throughout the films.
After a short break for the jury to compose themselves, Statman ruled "I have taken the view that there is no reason for you to see any more of these films.
Sometimes we do ask jurors to look at material that is understandably distressing to us all." Langham denies all charges against him and claim any material found on his computer was for research purposes. The trial continues.

The 48-year-old, who has undergone rehab in the past for cocaine addiction, claims parasites attach themselves to stars and lead them astray for their own financial benefit.

I have a friend who plays in the NBA. He had a gambling problem and the hotels in Las Vegas would send their jet for him when he was playing, saying ‘by the way, sir, if you want we’ll fly you back,’ and pit stop him in Vegas so that he would gamble. A lot of similar things happen to celebrities because people want to come up and give them a bag of cocaine.
They want them to come and hang out with them."

Pop star/actress HILARY DUFF drove a young fan to tears by refusing to sign autographs, according to U.S. reports.
The star was dining out with her family at Pier 36 Seafood and Oyster bar in Richmond, Texas, last week (18Jul07) when she reportedly snubbed the child.
The young girl was accompanied by a nine-year-old pal, and both were carrying posters and T-shirts for their idol to sign - but they arrived at the wrong moment.
A source tells the New York Daily News, "On their way out, the owner asked if Hilary would sign a menu for her daughter and she did. But when the youngsters approached, (Hilary) said, ‘I don’t really get to spend a lot of time with my family; sorry’ and walked out the door.

Pop punk PINK mother is begging the singer to have babies with her husband CAREY HART, so she can be a grandma.
The star has only just calmed down Hart’s desire to have children, and now she’s being pressured by her broody mother.
Pink says, "Carey really wanted us to have kids when we first met. But I told him that would be taking things a bit too fast, which he was fine with.

MARC ANTHONY has hit out at claims Latin music legend HECTOR LAVOE is undeserving of a biopic.
Anthony plays Lavoe, one of the most famous Spanish-language singers of the 1970s, in El Cantante - alongside his wife Jennifer Lopez as Lavoe’s wife Puchi.
And the Mexican star is adamant Lavoe is a cultural icon and made a massive impact on all musical genres.
Anthony tells Billboard, "It’s like saying, ‘Who was Sid Vicious and was he worthy of a movie?’ "Hector Lavoe had this intangible thing. If I were to introduce you to just his music, you would want to know the man. If I were to tell you this amazingly crazy story, you should want to hear his music. And when you have both, a story needs to be told. No one can sit there and tell me his music is less important than Ray Charles or Johnny Cash’s.
"His music, if you released it today, would still be viable."

LATEST: An attorney for rappers LIL’ WAYNE and JA RULE has slammed their arrests on weapons charges, insisting it’s "another instance of hip-hop targeting".
Lil’ Wayne - real name Dwayne Michael Carter Jr - was arrested in Manhattan shortly after his performance at the Beacon Theater on Sunday night (22Jul07).
Police claim Carter was found carrying a .40 calibre pistol after he was stopped for smoking marijuana.
Meanwhile, the Always On Time star - real name Jeffrey Atkins - and two associates were arrested in Manhattan on Sunday for speeding, and a search of their vehicle uncovered a .40 calibre pistol.
However, lawyer Stacey Richman - representing both stars - claims the firearm police recovered from inside Atkins’ car belonged to someone else.
Richman tells MTV, "If you get a car, and something’s left in the car, is that yours? How you can ascribe that anybody knows what’s in a car?" Referring to his speeding charge, she adds, "Why would he speed for one block? What, he’s going to speed to the next light on Broadway? Come on." Both rappers have been released on bail following the separate arrests.

LATEST: R&B star AKON has shifted the blame for his raunchy dance with an underage girl on stage onto her parents.
The Smack That hitmaker sparked controversy when he dirty danced with 14-year-old Danah Alleyne at a Trinidad gig in May (07), prompting the Caribbean country’s Prime Minister to order a formal investigation into the incident.
But Akon says he was used as a "scapegoat" and accuses her parents of being irresponsible for allowing her in an over-18 nightclub performance.
He says, "It was an unfortunate situation, more of a misunderstanding more than anything.
"You can’t blame me for a young girl sneaking into the club. Why is her dad letting her out at that time of the night? That’s not my responsibility, so I didn’t really let it affect the way I was moving around." Akon, who was touring with Gwen Stefani at the time of the incident, was dropped by tour sponsors Verizon.
The singer apologised to Stefani for bringing controversy to the tour in one of his songs - but insists she handled the event graciously.
He says, "She had my back the whole way. We literally stood together and she was like, ‘OK, as long as we stand together, we don’t need Verizon, we don’t need anybody, every show is completely sold out.’ "Honestly we were helping them more than they’re helping us at this point, so she stood by me the whole way."

BRITNEY SPEARS’ controversial new interview with OK! magazine started 45 minutes late and ended with the pop star storming off after two hours with more than $15,000 (£7,500) of designer clothes and jewellery hired for the accompanying photo shoot.
Spears also damaged designer clothes, which included an Alisha Levine dress she left with grease stains after wiping the remnants of a fried chicken lunch on it.
Former WENN reporter Ryan Smith oversaw the trainwreck meeting with the fallen pop superstar on 19 July (07), which Spears set up herself in a bid to clear up rumours about her.
After a video shoot in downtown Los Angeles, Spears turned up 45 minutes late for her Hollywood Hills interview with assistant Shannon Funk, a bodyguard, three pals and new pet Yorkshire terrier London in tow.
Smith reports, "The hair and make-up people were ordered out so that Brit’s friends could do the job, using the equipment brought in by the pros." Funk later took over as the pop star’s stylist after complaining the designer outfits chosen by OK! weren’t sexy enough.
After settling down for the interview in a pink Alisha Levine dress, Spears quickly opted to break for lunch - where she dined on fried chicken and used the dress to wipe her hands.
Spears then donned a Zac Posen gown for the photoshoot portion of the OK! session, but appeared "disorientated" and "erratic" after one of many toilet breaks with Funk.
After a brief photo session, the Toxic singer suddenly stormed off, taking the Vera Wang dress she had just changed into and a collection of jewellery and accessories.
Smith concludes his OK! report by stating, "We’d love to have our old Britney back. But what we experienced was a young girl who is in need of help." OK! editors chose not to use the photographs taken during the shoot for their article, instead just showing pictures of the troubled pop star arriving for the session and leaving, wearing items hired for the ill-fated interview.

MATT DAMON is urging 007 creators to bring JAMES BOND into the 21st century, branding the current incarnation outdated and misogynistic.
The actor, who plays screen spy Jason Bourne in the blockbuster franchise, insists characters like his emphasise the need for change.
He says, "(Bond is) an imperialist and he’s a misogynist. He kills people and laughs and sips martinis and wisecracks about it.
"Bourne is this paranoid guy. He’s on the run. He’s not the government. The government is after him. He’s a serial monogamist who’s in love with his dead girlfriend and can’t stop thinking about her. He’s the opposite of James Bond." And Paul Greengrass, Damon’s director on Bourne Ultimatum and its 2004 predecessor The Bourne Supremacy, agrees Bond needs to move forward.
He says, "He’s an insider. He likes being a secret agent. He worships at the altar of technology. He loves his gadgets. And he embodies this whole set of misogynistic values. He likes violence. That’s part of the appeal of the character. He has no guilt. He’s essentially an imperial adventurer of a particularly English sort.
"Personally, I spit on those values. I think we’ve moved on a little bit from all that, the martini shaken, not stirred."

SPICE GIRL MELANIE BROWN’s relationship with EDDIE MURPHY broke down because aspects of his lifestyle made her uncomfortable.
The pair split when Murphy publicly ended their romance on a Dutch TV show last year (06) and denied fathering her then-unborn child.
But Brown has hinted their relationship was doomed from the start because his private life shocked and worried her.
She tells essence.com, "There were certain things that went on in his house with his lifestyle that I wasn’t prepared to be a part of.
"I have a baby with this guy, so I have to be somewhat respectful. I’ll simply say that there were lifestyle changes that he would have to make if we were going to live together… I don’t have people knocking on my door at three and four in the morning." She adds efforts to confront the issue became "a trippy discussion, which ended up where we both refused to budge".
Murphy was famously detained by police ten years ago (97) after driving with a transvestite prostitute in his car. Murphy insisted he was merely giving his unusual passenger a ride home.
