MOAKLER ‘DEVASTATED’ BY SECOND MARRIAGE SPLIT
Former beauty queen SHANNA MOAKLER has been left devastated after splitting from husband TRAVIS BARKER for a second time - because she realises the punk rocker is the love of her life.
Moakler and Barker went through a messy separation last year (06) and started divorce proceedings, only to reconcile at the beginning of 2007 and give their marriage another chance.
But now Moakler feels the couple has split for good.
She says, "It’s very disappointing. I consider him (Barker) the love of my life.
"I think the demise of a marriage is like a death, and there is a mourning that goes with it. It’s devastating." Moakler insists she’ll spend the rest of 2007 celibate and single until she recovers from the marriage split.
She says, "Even my dad was like, ‘You are not allowed to date for three to six months.’ I don’t think I should either." Barker and Moakler wed in October 2004. The couple has two children: Landon, three, and Alabama, 19 months. Moakler also has another child, fathered by boxer Oscar De La Hoya.
