BECKHAM ‘NERVOUS’ PAPARAZZI CRAZE WILL THREATEN HIS FAMILY’S SAFETY
British soccer superstar DAVID BECKHAM fears for his family’s safety every time they step out in Los Angeles - because he worries the "over the top" paparazzi following will one day cause a horrific accident.
Beckham, his wife Victoria and their three sons moved to the U.S. earlier this month (Jul07) after the sportsman signed to from Spanish side Real Madrid to L.A. Galaxy.
But the 32-year-old is having difficulty getting used to the increased media attention, and cannot believe how many photographers are trying to get their picture.
He says, "It’s definitely over the top here in L.A. In London, if we’d go out to dinner there would be four or five cars following us.
"The other night we had 47 (cars of paparazzi following us). No joke. I get nervous. They run red lights and you’re just waiting for accidents to happen."
