KIEFER SUTHERLAND left British TV presenter FEARNE COTTON red-faced when she caught him in his underwear.
The 24 actor was using the unisex toilets backstage at the Princess Diana Memorial Concert in London earlier this month (Jul07) when Cotton burst through the unlocked door.
She says, "Kiefer told me very calmly that the lock on the door didn’t work.
"He offered to stand outside so I could use it without anyone walking in. He was a true gent. "But it has to be one of my most embarrassing moments ever."

LINDSAY LOHAN’s attorney has admitted the ankle bracelet that monitors her alcohol intake failed after the actress was arrested for DUI on Tuesday (24Jul07).
The Mean girls star was also arrested for possession of cocaine, transporting a narcotic into a custodial facility and driving on a suspended licence, despite wearing an alcohol-detecting ankle bracelet which is designed to monitoring her drinking.
Lohan’s attorney Blair Berk admitted in a statement issued to TMZ, that the tag was a failure.
The statement read: "Addiction is a terrible and vicious disease. "Since Lindsay transitioned to outpatient care, she has been monitored on a scram bracelet and tested daily in order to support her sobriety. Throughout this period, I have received timely and accurate reports from the testing companies. "Unfortunately, late yesterday I was informed that Lindsay had relapsed. The bracelet has now been removed. She is safe, out of custody and presently receiving medical care." Meanwhile, the company who issued Lohan with the scram bracelet told TMZ, "I didn’t even know she was arrested."

LINDSAY LOHAN’s father has called off his custody battle with his estranged wife - to concentrate on saving his daughter’s life.
Michael Lohan, who was recently released from a two-year prison sentence, feels partly to blame for his 21-year-old’s drug and alcohol problems - and he was stunned by news that his actress daughter was arrested on drink driving and cocaine possession charges this morning (24Jul07).
Now, all Michael Lohan wants to do is help his desperate daughter: "I want to withdraw everything - court wise - sit down with (estranged wife) Dina, as Lindsay’s parents, and figure out how to help her.
"Lindsay can’t do this on her own… When we were together, none of this was happening." Lohan fears his public feud with his estranged wife is partly to blame for his daughter’s problems.
A judge ordered Michael and Dina to see a family therapist as part of an ongoing custody war over their two young children, Ali and Dakota. The couple was also ordered to stop speaking negatively of each other in front of their kids and undergo counselling at a hearing on Monday (23Jul07).

LINDSAY LOHAN is heading back to rehab just days after completing a lengthy stay at Promises in Malibu, California.
The news comes after the troubled actress was arrested for drink driving and drug possession on Tuesday morning (24Jul07).
Lohan was pulled over by police after she was reported for driving erratically through the streets of Santa Monica, California, in hot pursuit of a car being driven by the mother of an assistant, who quit on Monday (23Jul07).
Police have confirmed the former assistant’s mother was the person who reported Lohan, calling authorities on her cellphone.
Lohan had been celebrating a friend’s birthday in Venice, California.
She was charged with a DUI and then police reportedly found cocaine in her pockets when she was booked.
Lohan has cancelled a scheduled appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, where she was due to promote her new movie I Know Who Killed Me, and she’ll also be a no-show at the film’s premiere later this week, according to reports.
And now, a source close to the Mean Girls star tells In Touch Weekly magazine that Lohan plans to re-enter rehab.
It is not clear yet whether she will return to Promises or exactly when she will check in.

Hollywood actress JULIA ROBERTS has been named the winner of the 2007 American Cinematheque award.
The Pretty Woman star was chosen unanimously by the non-profit organisation’s selection committee which honours career achievements, Variety magazine reports. Roberts, who won an Oscar for Erin Brockovich in 2001, will collect the prize at a ceremony in Beverly Hills on 12 October. Actors, directors and writers - including Steven Spielberg, Martin Scorsese, Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman - have been honoured at the ceremony every year since its inception in 1986. Last year (06), Roberts presented fellow actor George Clooney with the award after he landed the annual honour.

MICHELLE PFEIFFER found playing a racist in new movie HAIRSPRAY one of the toughest challenges of her acting career.
The actress - who has played a number of evil characters including a witch in upcoming movie Stardust - admits she found it difficult to grasp the script for her character Velma Von Tussle in the latest adaptation of the kitsch musical.
She says, "That was the hardest thing. I inched my way towards this character and then one day it registered: Oh my god, I’m playing a racist.

OUTKAST star BIG BOI is teaming up with golfer CALVIN PEETE to host a charity sporting event for American’s disadvantaged youngsters.

Former Welsh soprano CHARLOTTE CHURCH has been warned about her boyfriend GAVIN HENSON by his ex - following allegations the Welsh rugby ace cheated on her.
Northern Irish sales adviser Tracy Donnelly told a British newspaper she and Henson shared "a few kisses" at a Belfast nightclub recently.

OUTKAST star BIG BOI is offering a $50,000 (£25,000) reward after thieves stole an entire collection of jeans from his wife’s clothes store.
The rapper - real name Antwan André Patton - was angered after thieves broke into the boutique in Atlanta, Georgia and stole his wife Sherlita Patton’s top designs, reports AllHipHop.com.
He told a U.S radio station, "It is not a good day when your wife calls and says, ‘Babe, they got us.’ "So you know, I’ve got to see about this personally. You don’t even have to call the police folk. Just call me … I’ll get this handled."

Jamaican music producer DJ KOOL HERC has been honoured for his contribution to music by a U.S. congressman Hip-hop star DJ Herc - real name Clive Campbell - returned to his former Bronx apartment on Monday (23Jul07) to be honoured in a Congressional Record by New York congressman José E. Serrano.

American rapper MOS DEF has appeared in a Chicago court to defend a former death row inmate.
The hip-hop star - real name Dante Terrell Smith - spoke on Aaron Patterson’s behalf at a sentencing hearing Monday (Jul23).
Patterson spent 13 years in prison on death row for a double murder he claims he didn’t commit and alleges that Chicago homicide detectives framed and tortured him. He was released in 2003, but has since been convicted of drug and gun charges.
Prosecutors are seeking a 30-year term for Patterson claiming he also coordinated gang activities from prison. But Smith defended him, telling the court, "He’s definitely an asset to the community. He cares a great deal for his people."

ROD STEWART was treated to a song and dance routine by PENNY LANCASTER and her friends on the eve of their wedding.

SPICE GIRL VICTORIA BECKHAM is taking her pet dog Twiggy to rehab, so it’s house-trained for her new Los Angeles mansion.
The pop star is checking the Yorkshire terrier into a "boot camp" once it arrives in the city.
She says, "Twiggy’s in quarantine for the next six weeks. I’m not that keen on having the dog at all but the boys love it.
"As soon as it gets here I’m going to send it to a boot camp for dogs as it keeps peeing (urinating) and pooing everywhere." Victoria and her soccer ace husband David Beckham recently moved to the U.S.
from their home in Spain, after the sportsman signed from Real Madrid to play for L.A. Galaxy.

Socialite PARIS HILTON’s promise to do more charity work following her release from jail is being carried out - the socialite has started work helping to raise funds for children with spinal cord injuries.
She was at Life Rolls On Foundation’s 4th annual Night By the Ocean auction on Sunday (22Jul) in aid of her close friend Jesse Billauer - a former professional surfer who founded the charity after he was paralysed.
She paid $17,500 (£8,750) for a surfing lesson with Billauer and Adam Sandler.
She said later, "It’s a great organisation. It gives people hope and I’m really happy to be here to support Jesse." And Hilton’s charitable nature doesn’t stop there, adding, "I was just at the Los Angeles Children’s Hospital visiting all of the kids and premature babies in the cancer ward.
"I met with philanthropists and they’re doing a summit with five major charities and we’ll be doing stuff all over the world. I’m excited." Hilton was released from Lynwood, California’s Century Regional Detention Center last month (Jun07) after being jailed for violating her probation from a 2006 drink driving arrest.

LINDSAY LOHAN was arrested in Santa Monica, California in the early hours of Tuesday morning (24Jul07) for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol.
Cops stopped the star at 2.15am (PCT), according to TMZ.com. It’s the actress’ second DUI arrest in less than a year - just last week (ends20Jul07) she was charged by police for a DUI crash in May (07), and she is due back in court on 24 August to face charges of misdemeanour hit and run and having a blood alcohol level greater than .08.
The arrest also comes just a week after the star ended a 45 day spell in rehab.
After Lohan - who only reached the legal drinking age of 21 earlier this month (Jul07) - left the Promises Center in Malibu, she vowed to stay sober and has been wearing an ankle bracelet that monitors the wearer’s alcohol intake.

VANESSA MINNILLO credits boyfriend NICK LACHEY with helping her overcome the embarrassment of leaked pictures of her cavorting with LINDSAY LOHAN.
Pictures of Minnillo and Lohan playing with knives and pulling at each others’ tops at New York club Bungalow in June last year (06) were leaked onto the internet last month (Jun07).
And Minnillo says she only got through the ordeal with the support of Lachey, whom she has been dating for a year.
She says, "It was a tough time. I want people to see me for who I am. "When a photo like that gets more press than you do it’s sad. Nick said to me: ‘This is one bad chapter is a book of your life.’ It was a period of seconds, over a year ago.
