MARIAH DENIES FAKE PERFUME ADS
Superstar MARIAH CAREY has slammed internet pranksters for creating a fake advertising campaign for her upcoming fragrance M By Mariah Carey.
The Hero hitmaker has signed a deal with cosmetics giant Elizabeth Arden to create the scent, which is expected to hit stores in September (07).
In recent weeks, a so-called ad, purporting to be for Carey’s official perfume, has been circulating on the internet.
However, an Arden spokesman says, "An image of MC with her fragrance bottle photoshopped in the corner is being featured on several blogs today, and is categorically not the advertisement for her new fragrance, nor is it even remotely close. The real ad for M by Mariah Carey will debut exclusively on TMZ during the second week of August."
