KASABIAN TURN DOWN GIGS TO AVOID FAN CARNAGE
British rockers KASABIAN fears they will have to stop playing at intimate venues in order to avoid causing "carnage." The Empire hitmakers recently played on a small stage in Ibiza to the delirium of their fans - but the band believe it’s getting to dangerous for them to play at intimate venues.
Frontman Tom Meighan, 26, says, "It was amazing but that’s the last time you’ll see us on that stage.
"The band is getting bigger and bigger and if we played next year it’d be dangerous - we bring to much carnage to the town.
"I had to be smuggled out with a towel over my head like Michael Jackson - it was mental." Guitarist Serge Pizzorno, 26, adds, "We’d love to do it again, but if we played the same venue it’d probably be ripped apart."
