NEW ORDER DENY SPLIT, TO CONTINUE WITHOUT HOOK

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:17 pm

NEW ORDER have vowed to continue without PETER HOOK, just two months after the bassist claimed the veteran British band had split during a radio interview.
Hook made his admission during an interview in May (07), citing New Order frontman Bernard Sumner’s work with dance act Electronic as the reason for the disbandment.
However, Sumner and drummer Stephen Morris insist Hook’s announcement the band has split was made without consulting either of them - and that New Order still exists.
In a statement, the pair says: "We would have hoped he could have approached us personally first.
"New Order have not split up. Whatever happens musically or otherwise, New Order have not split up, they continue to exist."
