Biting pain
An Australian rugby player competed for three months with an opponent’s tooth embedded in his head.
Ben Czislowski clashed heads with rival player Matt Austin during a match on April 1 and he received a nasty wound.
The cut in his head was stitched up but Czislowski suffered an eye infection and was suffering from tiredness and headaches.
When he visited the doctor, Czislowski was shocked when the medic found the tooth.
He said: "I can laugh about it now, but the doctor told me it could have been serious, with teeth carrying germs.
"I’ve got the tooth at home, sitting on the bedside table. If Austin wants it back he can have it. I’m keeping it at the moment as proof that it actually happened."
