TURNER: ‘THOMPSON IS PERFECT FOR KATH AND KIM’
Australian comedienne JANE TURNER is desperate for EMMA THOMPSON to make a guest appearance in her TV show, KATH AND KIM.
Kylie Minogue, Rachel Griffiths and Geoffrey Rush have all appeared in the hit comedy, and Turner, who plays Kath Day Knight in the show, insists having the Love Actually star on set would be a dream come true.
She says, "I would love to have Emma Thompson on the show. I love her. She’s so funny and talented." Turner and her comedy partner Gina Riley - who are headlining this weekend’s Toast festival in London - also insist they are keen to feature a cameo from British comedy duo Jennifer Saunders and Dawn French.
