LOHAN TURNS TO THE PRINCE FOR ADVICE
LINDSAY LOHAN is taking tips on how to handle life in the spotlight from a 16th century book by Italian philosopher Machiavelli - and is so taken by his advice she never leaves home without it.
The Mean Girls actress is so impressed with Niccolò Machiavelli’s teachings in the 1513 novel The Prince - about personal powerplay and political manipulation - she now relies on the book to help her deal with her hectic Hollywood lifestyle.
She says, "I was going out with someone and they said I should read Machiavelli and I was like, ‘Nah’, and then I was, ‘OK, I’ll read it.’ "Now it’s always with me."
