ANTONIO MUNIZ RETURNS TO THE STAGE AFTER CRASH
Mexican singer MARCO ANTONIO MUNIZ is returning to the stage after recovering from a serious car accident.
The 74-year-old singer was forced to cancel a string of gigs after he hurt his chest in a crash on 1 April (07).
At a press conference this week (ends20Jul07), Muniz announced he was teaming up with his son Jorge Muniz to tour Central America.
Marco enthused, "I thank God I am taking my second breath and I am very pleased to experience new opportunities." Marco wowed the press by singing a few bars from one of his songs, to show his chest injury hadn’t affected his famous voice.
