The former Destiny’s Child star fainted while performing at the ThisDay Music Festival in Lagos, Nigeria.
She was taken to an undisclosed Lagos hospital, but is now said to be in "good condition".
Other performers at the festival included Rihanna, UB40, Mode Nine and Shakira.
Meanwhile, Kelly has revealed she only keeps fit so she can look good naked.
The 26-year-old singer ignores pressure to slim down and only stays in shape to impress when she is in the nude. Kelly said: ‘I would never become a size zero. I work out because I want to look good naked, simple as that.
"My least favourite part of my body is my butt, because it has stretch marks.’ Although she is now happy with her figure and looks, the 26-year-old star used to think she was ugly. She said: ‘I am not perfect! When I was a little girl I thought I was ugly. My nose was too big for my face.’

The ‘Sin City’ star has been house-hunting in New York with her movie producer lover Cash Warren.
The couple, who already live together, have been viewing properties in some of the city’s most desirable areas, including Chelsea, SoHo and the West Village.
A friend of Jessica’s told the New York Daily News newspaper: ‘They love visiting New York and have decided to have a second home here. Jessica wants to have a cosy place to stay, since she finds herself working and shopping in New York all the time.’ The 26-year-old actress - who met Cash while filming the first ‘Fantastic Four’ film, on which he worked as a director’s assistant - has seemingly been planning to move to the Big Apple for some time.
Last year, Jessica claimed she was planning to quit Hollywood and move to the city so she could star in more independent films and spend more time with Cash.
She said at the time: "It’s something I have been considering. Just being an actress and being in a relationship is tough – I don’t recommend it."

Kevin – the estranged husband of Britney Spears – has just moved into a $3.2 million Californian mansion and has been busy giving it his own stamp.
Kevin was determined for his and Britney’s children, 22-month-old Sean Preston, and 10-month-old Jayden James, to have luxurious rooms and spent a small fortune at exclusive Los Angeles boutique Petit Tresor.
When Sean Preston was born in September 2005, Britney splashed out $45,000 on his nursery in the Malibu mansion she and Kevin used to share.
The separated couple, who split last November, are currently involved in a bitter custody battle over their two children.
Last month, it was alleged Kevin had said 25-year-old Britney – who recently spent time in rehab to be treated for alcoholism and alleged post-natal depression – was too young and mentally unstable to be a mother.
A source told Us Weekly magazine: ‘He thinks she’s mentally unstable and too young to be a mom. He expects to have full custody of his children one day.
‘But he loves his kids and, to that extent, he will look after Britney.’ Kevin, 28, also has two children, Kori and Kaleb, from his relationship with actress Shar Jackson.

The Oscar-winning beauty was said to be furious when she found out Brad and 14-month-old Shiloh had shared lunch with former ‘Friends’ actress Jennifer.

Angelina was said to have been so furious with Jane, she threatened to ban her from seeing Shiloh unless she severed all contact with Jennifer.

Many claimed the actor’s close friendship with Angelina - who he met on the set of ‘Mr. and Mrs. Smith’ - was the cause of their split.
Although they denied this, Brad and Angelina officially became an item just months later.
