Spiky spies
Israel’s top secret nuclear research centre has been infiltrated by porcupines.
The prickly trespasser have been chewing through saplings and garden hoses in the grounds of the top security plant.
Israeli Parks Authority spokeswoman Osnat Eitan has confirmed that park rangers had been sent to the facility at Dimona - which some claim is used to produce atomic weapons - to catch dozens of porcupines.
The rangers are using potatoes and chocolate milk to lure the spiky creatures into traps and move them elsewhere.
Site gardener, David Golan, said a porcupine population explosion posed a security threat.
A spokesperson refuses to comment on reports that the reactor, in the Negev desert, has produced plutonium for atomic bombs.
