SIMPSONS MOVIE ESCAPES CENSORSHIP

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 6:08 pm

THE SIMPSONS MOVIE has been given a green light by British film censors - after they deemed naked images of Bart "non-sexual".
The animated movie of the hit TV series has been given a PG (Parental Guidance) certificate in the U.K. after decision-makers concluded the movie’s nudity will pass unnoticed by most kids in the audience.
A spokeswoman for the British Board of Film Classification says, "Natural nudity with no sexual content is acceptable in PG films. It will sail over most children’s heads. The Simpsons is really for grown-ups isn’t it?" The movie was granted the PG classification for its "mild language, innuendo and comic violence".
