EFRON DESPERATE TO MAKE MUSICALS ‘COOL’ AGAIN
Actor ZAC EFRON is desperate to make musicals "cool" again - and insists he’s on a mission to bring the film genre to a new generation of youngsters.
The 19-year-old star, who has appeared in song and dance-filled movies High School Musical and Hairspray, admits he will do as much as he possibly can to raise the status of musicals.
He says, "It’s exciting to think that. I would love to help bring musicals back. Anything I can do.
"I just love these kind of movies they were inspirational for me as a kid, so hopefully we can educate a young audience and manage to make them aware of musicals. It’s all about the good stuff when you can sing and dance.
