LOS ANGELES VIVA EARTH GIG CANCELLED
A Los Angeles Live Earth-related concert has become the third leg of Saturday’s (07JUL07) global extravaganza to be cancelled.
The Viva Earth benefit concert, which was due to take place at the city’s famed Memorial Coliseum, has been called off for reasons unknown as WENN went to press.
Stars including Ciara, Tyrese and Busta Rhymes were due to perform at the cancelled event, which now follows in the footsteps of scrapped Live Earth concerts in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil and Istanbul, Turkey.
A spokeswoman for the public relations company organising the day-long festival says, "I have been informed that the concert has been cancelled."
