INTERPOL REGRET SPLIT ‘JOKE’

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 1:17 pm

American rockers INTERPOL have apologised for misleading fans to believe the band had split.
The four-piece are back with their third album after a three-year hiatus, but many feared they’d never return after an internet "joke" about their split was taken seriously.
Frontman Paul Banks says, "I wrote that we had split up on our website, but it was all very tongue-in-cheek, a throwaway phrase which seems to be haunting us now." To prove their longevity, Interpol recently signed to record giant EMI.
