HUNT’S DIRECTORIAL DEBUT TO OPEN TORONTO FESTIVAL
Actress HELEN HUNT’s filmmaking career has been given a big boost - her directorial debut has been chosen to open the Toronto International Film Festival in September (07).
The Oscar-winning As Good As It Gets is the director of new movie Then She Found Me, in which she also stars as a New York teacher struggling to cope after her husband leaves her.
The film also features Matthew Broderick, Colin Firth and Bette Midler.
Meanwhile, Moulin Rouge! star Richard Roxburgh’s directorial debut, Romulus, My Father, will also feature at the world-renowned Canadian film festival.
