RAIN IN LEGAL TROUBLE
LATEST: South Korean pop superstar RAIN is being sued by a concert promotion company that claims he defrauded it out of more than $500,000 (£250,000).
The singer - dubbed the ‘Korean Justin Timberlake’ - cancelled two gigs and postponed three of a five date US tour, blaming technical glitches and trademark lawsuit in Nevada.
Hawaiian company Click Entertainment is suing for $500,000 (£250,000) claiming Rain agreed to perform in Honolulu when he knew he couldn’t possibly make the date.
Rain is also under fire from promoters in Los Angeles over a show he cancelled an hour and a half before it was due to begin. They are reportedly preparing to launch a lawsuit.
At the time of the axed gig, Rain insisted the stage at LA’s Staples Center wasn’t set up, reports TMZ.com.
