ROWLING: ‘HARRY POTTER ENDING WAS EMOTIONAL’
Author J.K. ROWLING is looking forward to a long vacation after writing the final HARRY POTTER book left her drained and emotional.
The writer braved torrential rain in London on Tuesday (03Jul07) for a star-studded premiere of the latest Harry Potter movie, The Order of the Phoenix, and revealed all about the creatively gruelling final weeks of her boy wizard franchise.
She said, "I’m looking forward to going on holiday.
"Finishing it (final book Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows) was very, very emotional. It’s been a hell of a month. I’ll want to know what the people in my house think of it." The seventh and final book in the series is published later this month (21Jul07).
