GERMAN POP STAR NENA SUED OVER ‘DRUNK’ PERFORMANCE

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 4:02 am

German one hit wonder NENA is facing legal action after allegedly turning up intoxicated for a private insurance company gig.
The 99 Red Balloons singer, 47, was booked to sing at a company meeting for the Allianz insurance firm but shocked her audience when she reportedly stumbled onto the stage and proceeded to insult the businessmen and women.
According to the Bild newspaper, she opened her performance saying, "Hey you tie-wearers, stop being so stiff." She then slammed them for remaining in their seats instead of dancing, adding, "If you are like that with customers, you won’t sell much insurance.
I’ve cancelled my health insurance with you anyway." Allianz is demanding back half of the $140,000 (£70,000) she was paid for the concert.
