THE WHO star PETE TOWNSHEND’s penchant for the younger lady is diminishing he’s in lust with DAME SHIRLEY BASSEY.
The rocker, 62, is currently dating RACHEL FULLER who, at 33, is nearly 30 years his junior.
However, he confesses his head has been turned temporarily by Bassey, 70, after watching her perform at last month’s (May07) Glastonbury Festival in England.
He says, "She still has a great voice and I can assure you the conditions at Glasto were awful for her and her orchestra on stage as well as off.
"She is still very, very sexy. She triumphed."
