SLAYER: ‘METALLICA ARE TOO OLD’

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 6:05 pm

SLAYER guitarist KERRY KING has blasted fellow rockers METALLICA - by branding them "too old for success".
King reveals he lost all respect for the metal band’s after watching their 2004 documentary Metallica: Some Kind Of Monster, which follows the rockers as they attend group therapy while making their St. Anger album.
He says, "I used to admire Metallica and I don’t wanna see them going to f**king therapy. I mean, that’s f**king… keep it in the band, man.
"I won’t watch that movie because I don’t want to think of them like that. I wanna think of f**king Battery and Damage Inc. and Ride the Lightning. I don’t wanna see these fragile f**king old men that can’t have a cocktail anymore because they’re afraid of what they’ll become. F**k that!"
