RIHANNA CONTINUES U.K. CHART DOMINATION
R&B singer RIHANNA is in seventh heaven after continuing her reign atop of the U.K. singles chart with summer hit UMBRELLA.
The 19-year-old held off stiff competition from singer/songwriter Kate Nash who debuted at two with Foundations. It’s the seventh week Rihanna has topped the charts.
Rockers The Enemy join Nash as new entries in the top five, with festival favourite Had Enough reaching number four.
The album chart sees U.S. singer Kelly Clarkson cement her transatlantic success with a number two placing, behind the Editor’s top spot with An End Has A Start.
Icky Thump, the White Stripes’ comeback album, falls from number one to four.
