Posted in: Royal News — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 9:00 pm

The hip-hop mogul knocked back pints of Crystal champagne backstage at the Concert for Diana at London’s Wembley Stadium yesterday (01.07.07).
However, the rapper - who performed his hit ‘I’ll Be Missing You’ for the memorial show marking the 10th anniversary of the untimely death of Britain’s Princess Diana - insists he is no match for the party animal prince.
He told Britain’s The Sun newspaper: ‘There’s no way I could out-party Prince Harry. I’ve heard he’s very good at it.
‘I’m here to have a celebration - a celebration of Diana’s life.’ After the concert P. Diddy threw a £160,000 party at top London nightspot Paper.
Among the array of alcohol laid on for party-goers were two giant diamond-encrusted bottles of Sputnik vodka.
Each bottle was handmade especially for the event and cost £10,000 each.
There were two silver baths filled with 2,400 bottles of Bud Silver beer and thousands-of-pound-worth of champagne was also available.
Harry, 22, is renowned for his hard partying and is often seen out drinking with his Army pals and girlfriend Chelsy Davy.
The prince and his 21-year-old girlfriend often share a couple of Treasure Chest cocktails at their favourite London club Mahiki.
The £100 cocktail is designed to serve eight people and contains rum, brandy, peach liqueur and champagne.

Britain’s Prince Harry paid emotional tribute to his Army colleagues in Iraq at the Concert for Diana yesterday (01.07.07).

Posted in: Royal News — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 9:00 pm

The young prince - who was prevented from joining his Blues and Royals squadron in Iraq due to fears for his safety - told London’s packed Wembley Stadium that he wished he was out there fighting with them.
He said: ‘I’d like to take this opportunity to say hi to all the guys in A Squadron Household Cavalry, who are serving out in Iraq at the moment. I wish I was there with you, I’m sorry I can’t be and to you and everybody else on operations at the moment both William and I would like to say, stay safe.’ Harry - a second lieutenant in the Blues and Royals - was due to be deployed in Iraq until Army chief General Sir Richard Dannatt decided the dangers were too great.
The 22-year-old prince has since been training at a British military base in Canada. His training involved armoured vehicle training, leading to reports that Harry might be secretly deployed in the Helmand Province of Afghanistan.
Harry and his older brother Prince William, 25, organised yesterday’s memorial concert to mark the 10th anniversary of the mother Princess Diana’s death in a Paris car crash.

Harry and William told 63,000 fans packed into London’s new Wembley Stadium that their Concert for Diana was the perfect way to celebrate ‘all that our mother loved in life’ on what would have been her 46th birthday.
William said: ‘This evening is about all that my mother loved in life, her music, her dance, her charities and her family and friends.’ Harry then introduced one of Diana’s favourite bands, Duran Duran, who got the crowd on their feet with hits ‘Sunrise’, ‘Wild Boys’ and ‘Rio’.

The show ended as it began with Elton John bringing the day to a crescendo with classic hits ‘Saturday Night’s Alright for Fighting’, ‘Are You Ready For Love’ and ‘Tiny Dancer’.

Britain’s Prince William and Kate Middleton kept everyone guessing about their romance at the Concert for Diana yesterday (01.07.07).

Posted in: Royal News — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 9:00 pm

Kate sat three rows behind William in the Royal Box at London’s Wembley Stadium in the pair’s first public appearance since splitting in April.
It had been rumoured William, 25, would announced he had rekindled the romance at his mother’s tribute concert, but the pair kept their distance.
William danced with his brother Harry and his best friend Thomas van Straubenzee, while Kate, also 25, sat with William’s cousin Zara Phillips.
At one point, Kate reportedly stared at William as she joined Take That in singing ‘I just want you back for good’.
A source told Britain’s The Sun newspaper: ‘Kate and William are still working things through and insist they are not back together. But the cat is out of the bag.’ Kate reportedly visited William at Clarence House on Saturday (30.06.07), but the pair were keen to keep the meeting a secret.
A friend of Kate’s said: ‘It was clear Kate and William had put together a plan so that the meeting could be kept secret. It was carefully orchestrated.’ Meanwhile, it has been suggested William and Kate’s split lasted just four days, but they decided to keep their reunion a secret.
A source told Britain’s News of the World newspaper: ‘William and Kate realised it was the perfect opportunity to try to get rid of some of the pressure they were facing. Rumours about them getting engaged were getting stronger and they couldn’t cope with it. ‘There is a group of about eight people that they trust. They helped keep it a secret and plan their romance away from the public eye.’

Denmark’s Crown Princess Mary and Crown Prince Frederik have christened their daughter Isabella.

Posted in: Royal News — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 9:00 pm

The royal couple named their 10-week-old baby girl Isabella Henrietta Ingrid Margrethe, in an intimate ceremony at Fredensborg Palace Chapel, north of Copenhagen, on Sunday (01.07.07).
In keeping with Danish tradition, the princess’ name was kept secret until the service.
The Bishop of Copenhagen, Erik Norman Svendsen, who was only informed of the name at the last minute, joked: ‘Luckily I haven’t known it for long and hence it hasn’t been difficult to keep quiet about the little princess’ name.’ Isabella - who wore a historic lace christening robe first worn by her great-grandfather King Christian X in 1870 - slept peacefully in her mother’s arms throughout the ceremony, even when the bishop poured water over her head.
Australian-born Mary, dressed in a mauve dress, looked overcome by emotion as she listened to The Copenhagen Royal Chapel Choir sing a collection of moving hymns.
Mary’s husband Prince Frederik was unable to hold back the tears and started crying during the first song.
The couple’s two-year-old son Prince Christian spent the majority of the service sitting on his father’s knee.
Frederik’s parents Queen Margrethe and Prince Consort Henrik also looked on proudly.
Other royal guests included the princess’ godmothers Princess Mathilde of Belgium and Princess Alexia of Greece.
The princess’ name has not gone down well with everybody, with some royalist believing Isabella - a Spanish version of Mary’s middle name Elizabeth - is not ‘royal enough’.
Isabella - who was born on April 21 - took her other names from Mary’s late mother Henrietta, Frederik’s maternal grandmother Ingrid and the prince’s mother, Queen Margrethe.
